boo

It's Halloween week at Imaginisce! I've been making a lot of sweet and fun Halloween projects for the kids, so I thought I'd try making one for my husband. I wanted to make a black and white card, so of course I reached for the Black Ice collection. I couldn't resist combining it with the little skeleton girl from Monster Mash. I love how the elegant paper make this card just a little bit creepy...that plus the i-Rock jeweled eye!

Visit the Imaginisce blog for more Halloween inspiration from my awesome teammates!

A Bushel of Fall

I love Fall. There's something in the air that makes sitting at my craft table cozy and fun. The Bushel of Fall collection from Imaginisce put me in just the right frame of mind to create a trio of coordinating cards.

For my first card, I wanted to really showcase all the fun patterned paper in the collection. I created a fun die-cut background and then simple added one of the cute matching dimensional stickers. The Happy Fall die-cut was the perfect sentiment and I absolutely adore the new wood buttons!

My second card had me pulling out my markers to color in two of the darling Snag'Em stamps. Again, I used a die-cut sentiment from the collection and another fun wood button.

My third card was simple to create because I used the pretty patterned paper to create my background. I let the die-cuts do most of my work for me, and with a little bit of twine, I was all set!

Warmest Wishes!

Happy Friday, crafty friends! I have a fun little Christmas card to share with you today.

I used one of my favorite new dies from Taylored Expressions, the Color Block Cutting Plate. It was fun to use all the different panels, which I filled with patterned paper and images from the new Christmas Doodles stamp set. With just a few added snowflakes and some glittery Stickles, I had a sweet, cute and fun little card for the holidays!

Imaginisce + Kiwi Lane Designs = Holiday Fun!

Happy Tuesday, crafty friends! Today I get to show off some projects I created using products from Imaginisce and a fun company called Kiwi Lane Designs. I've shared KLD's templates before, but this time I got to play with some of their fun Fall and Holiday collections. Paired with Imaginisce, it was a terrific combination to create some cute holiday projects!

I love the "Tiny" line of Kiwi Lane templates because they are sized perfectly for card making. I used the Holiday Accessories to create a festive holiday card featuring papers from one of my all-time favorite Christmas collections, Christmas Cheer. Using the holly leaf template, I made my own holly sprig and added some glittery stickler for a bit of holiday bling.

I couldn't resist the half-tree template and just had to make a matching little 3-D Christmas tree using the same patterned paper!

When I saw the fun Halloween Accessory templates from Kiwi Lane, I knew I had to scrap our last pumpkin carving session. I pulled out my Monster Mash stash and paired it with the nice plump pumpkin I traced and cut using the template. This was a quick and easy layout because I found the perfect diecuts in the Monster Mash collection to help me create a great frame for my photo layout.

Taylored Expressions Release Day...Thanks SNOW Much!

It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions!
I am so happy that I still get to play along with all my friends at TE. Today, I'm sharing a fun Christmas card I created with the newly released dies, Mix & Match BowsShake It Up and Baby, It's Cold Outside stamp set.

I absolutely LOVE the snow globe die, Shake It Up. Using some clear vellum, I created a pretty little winter scene with the Christmas tree from Baby, It's Cold Outside

Popping up the front panel, I was able to get in a lot of dimension inside the "snow globe." To top it all off, I added a die-cut bow from the new Mix & Match Bows set of dies!

BEAN NOTES
In addition to the products listed below,
I also used the following supplies to create this card:
Specialty Paper: vellum (generic); Ink: VersaMark Opaque (Tsukineko)
