Using the sketch, I cut out a window for the square element, framing it in some Rose Red cardstock. I wanted to go monochromatic, and I next used different shades of pink in 1-inch squares for the vertical panel. After punching out some pretty monarch butterflies, I strung them on some white embroidery floss and adhered them as tautly as I could so that they could "flutter" in the window.
