The Cake's the Thing...(A Birthday Blog Hop!)...

Today I am participating in a very fun blog hop for a very special lady. The sweet, funny, and oh-so-fabulous Kazan Clark is celebrating a birthday today, and the 2 Sketches 4 You Design Team, along with Kazan's partner in crime, the lovely Laura Davis, are putting on a surprise blog hop to wish her many happy returns.

The cute little cake pulls up with a simple slider pop-up that uses the image itself as a mechanism!
Kazan is one talented and crafty gal. She creates some of the most beautiful cards, layouts, and gifts out there, which has earned her coveted spots on several design teams from the top companies in the industry. I thought I'd pay homage to her by creating a birthday card inspired by one of the teams she currently participates in, JustRite Stampers. If you've never had the pleasure of seeing what she comes up with for JRS, you've been missing out! This week, I was inspired by the cool Friday Challenge sketch and made a pop-up card that I hope is worthy of Ms. Clark's innumerable talents! To join in the fun, please visit all the designers' blogs and be sure to stop by Kazan's and wish her a happy day!
