Happy Tuesday! Today is Day Two of sneak peeks for Taylored Expressions and I have two projects to share with you. The first features a lovely set concepted by my friend Jami Sibley and illustrated by the super talented Nancy McKinney called Embrace Beauty. These are gorgeous silhouettes and as soon as I saw them, I knew I wanted to make a gift set of candles for a friend. I embossed the images with some copper embossing powder and die-cut them out before matting with the Fleur de Lis Spellbinder dies that were used to coordinate the design. I added some raffia around some simple candles found in my local craft store and voila! I had a beautiful and easy to make gift.

Next up is a really fun set, Bugabee, which is illustrated by Taylor herself from a concept by my fellow Baker's Dozen teammate, Charmaine Ikach. A big congrats to Charmaine for coming up with this darling set, which features bees, ladybugs, flowers, and sentiments -- plus, there are coordinating dies! For my happy thank you card, I stamped the flowers before adding some nice, fat bumblebees (my son's favorite) and used the dies to also create some wings out of vellum. The grass was made using the soon-to-be released Grass Border Taylored Die -- how fun and easy is it to create a nice field of grass?
