Hi crafty friends! It's Wednesday and I have the last day of sneak peeks for Taylored Expressions -- tomorrow is release day and I'm so glad you joined me today for another project. Today I have something fun to share. For those of you who read TSB regularly, you'll know that I often like to create projects starring my own little rugrat. I was so happy when I got to get inky with the new School a la Carte stamp because I've been trying forever to figure out a way to display this photo of him from art class.
I love how versatile this stamp (illustrated by Nancy McKinney) is for everything from scrapbooking to cards to something like this, which is a very easy to make frame. There are so many different kinds of school, and for this project, I simple hand-wrote the word "art"! (Bean Tip: a very cool technique that adds a lot to any photographic project is something I call "3-D Fussy Cutting" -- pick out the object or person you'd like to highlight, print more than one copy and fussy cut before popping it up with some dimensional foam." After coloring in the school image, I trimmed and added it to a simple frame I created with some fun and funky patterned paper.

BEAN NOTES
Stamps: School a la Carte (Taylored Expressions)

Tomorrow is the big day! Come on back for my take on a wild west birthday. Meanwhile, check out the rest of the Baker's Dozen for other exciting projects. Thanks so much for stopping by!
