It's Day Two of Sneak Peeks for Taylored Expressions and I have a two for Tuesday for you! I have two projects to share featuring the soon-to-be released sets, Love Grows Here and Life is a Dance.

My first project features the new set, Love Grows Here. I wanted to make something pretty to hang in our new digs in San Francisco, and the darling tree images in this set (illustrated by new TE illustrator Emily Burger for the new Embracing Grace line) were just the thing. I decided to choose four of the seven images to symbolize the seasons. I began by cutting out windows in some pretty patterned paper and mounted it on some mat board. Next, I stamped and colored the trees, cutting out a few of the elements and popping them up for some dimension. The set also comes with a lot of cute sentiments, which I think I'll save for cardmaking!

I have always loved the ballet -- to watch it, as I'm pretty much the klutziest two-left footed person on the planet -- and I thought this new petite set, Life is a Dance, from TE perfectly captured all the romance and beauty of this artful dance. This gorgeous mini set is another Nancy McKinney special (it was designed to coordinate with the new Moka Morgana, but as you can see, it can be used all on its own!)

I stamped this pretty ballerina dress on some white cardstock. Then, I stamped just the skirt several times on some very thin typing paper (tissue would work as well, though you'd want to be extra careful about tearing) and fussy cut. After coloring in each layer, I adhered just the tops of each so that I could "fluff" out the skirt. I left things clean and simple, adding the lovely sentiment and adding some satin ribbon.
