Butterflies for Mom...

As a mother, I am particularly fond of Mother's Day, but really because I get to make cards for the mothers in my life. This year, I think I will send some to my friends who are also moms, too. I was inspired by this week's Our Creative Corner Butterfly Challenge, as well as the fab sketch for this month's My Mind's Eye April Sketch.

I love the colors in the Blink of an Eye paper and I die-cut some vellum and paper butterflies with dies from Taylored Expressions. Then, I adhered them together and popped them up with some dimensionals. I stamped the pretty frame from Make it Amazing, along with the elegant sentiment and then faux stitched along the card's edges. I can't wait to send this to a much-deserving mom!
