Glitter & Glitz...ScrapbookSteals.com Blog Hop!

Happy, happy Friday! Today, it is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to a ScrapbookSteals.com Blog Hop! If you are here from Cathryn's lovely blog, Cat Scrap Creations, you are on the right track. Plus, keep reading for details on how you can WIN a fabulous Prize!

All of today's designers got to play with some really amazing product: American Crafts Glitter Tape, which is also today's Steal on ScrapbookSteals.com. If you haven't heard of ScrapbookSteals.com, they offer up some incredible deals on all your favorite scrapbooking supplies. For this hop, I created two projects which I hope will show off just how much fun I had with the Glitter Tape!

First up is a clean and simple card. I had a cute stamp set featuring hot air balloons, one of which I masked so that all I had left was the basket.

After stamping, I used a heart die to create a heart-shaped window where the balloon would be. I lined up the Glitter Tape behind it and popped up the entire front panel.

Next up is a little gift tin that I decorated that could hold a sweet treat or a gift card.

I again lined up the glam Glitter Tape on some cardstock and die-cut three hearts from the panel. (Save these, by the way...they make beautiful stickers, as shown above!) I then adhered this die-cut panel to a piece of magenta cardstock, which I die-cut to fit the lid of my tin.

BEAN NOTES
Cardstock: Solar White (Neenah); Rose Red (Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: sentiment from Polar Pete set; hot-air balloon from Sky's the Limit set (Taylored Expressions)
Dies: Nesting Hearts (Lifestyle Crafts)
Other: Gift Tin (Taylored Expressions)

I hope you enjoyed my projects today. Guess what? I am the last stop on today's Hop! Be sure to leave me a comment, as well as a comment on each designer's blog for a chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate to SS! Head on back to the ScrapbookSteals.com Blog to leave one more comment if you haven't already. You've got until Sunday, June 10 at 11:59 PM MST to leave all your love!

If you got off track, check out the link list below:
