Hoot, Hoot It's a Plane!...Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day!

It's a Petite-a-Palooza Release this month at Taylored Expressions!
This month is a little bittersweet for me because this is also my last month on the Baker's Dozen as an official design team member. I have loved every single minute and, luckily for me, I will be continuing on with TE working behind the scenes!
Today I have two projects to share with you as we celebrate the last release of 2012!

As I mentioned, it's Petite-a-Palooza, which means that TE is releasing 12 new Petite-sized sets, which are really fun, and, this time, 9 of those sets have coordinating dies. The one I used for my first sneak peek project is Hoot Hoot Hooray, which features these two darling owls. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and I'm filing this card away for my wonderful husband, who is definitely as wise as one of these nocturnal avians!

Next up is the set, Plane Awesome, and I decided that it would be perfect to create a masculine card for my father-in-law's upcoming birthday. The background die is the newly released Label Stacklets 3, and I cut out a few of the clouds from the patterned paper for a little added touch.

I colored in one of the two cute airplanes and die-cut it with the matching die.
