Taylored Expressions Release Day: A Lovely View


It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions! I have been having such a fun time playing along with my old pals at the Baker's Dozen. Today I created a card using the newly released set, A Lovely View to create a pretty card for my parents for Valentine's Day.


After coloring in one of the sweet "views" from the set, I paired it with the new Display Window die. Aren't the cut out windows darling? (The XOXO sentiment is from A Lovely View, too.)


A new die to coordinate with the Taylored window dies is the new Window Awning. This fun die was designed to go over the window dies, but I since my "view" is from of the inside, out I thought I'd put the awning on the "outside" by placing it behind the die-cut window!

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 2: Love Makes the World Go 'Round


It's another sneak peek day at Taylored Expressions! I got to play again with some of the fun new products releasing this Thursday and today I made another card just perfect for Valentine's Day!


I took one of the sentiments from the new set, Love Makes the World Go Round, and die-cut it using Label Stacklets 6. I added a little heart by popping it up with some foam tape.


I actually used some pocket scrapbooking items on this card, which is a new favorite thing of mine to do to create some cute cards. I used the new Pockets & Pages 3x4 Part of My Heart die to cut the shape from a map pocket scrapbooking card. I love how this turned out...I think this will be for a jet-setting friend of mine for V-Day!

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 1: Friends Don't Come Any Better Than YOU


It's Release Week at Taylored Expressions and I have been having so much fun playing with the new stamps and dies! It's all about Valentine's Day, which is, of course, one of my absolute favorite holidays for creating cards. My card today is for my husband, who is also my very best friend. I used the soon-to-be-released Love Makes the World Go Round set, which is at the top of my list for how darling it is.


I also used the new Tag Stacklets 2 and Tag Reinforcements. I love the trend of putting a tag on a card -- it's so easy and quick, while adding some visual interest. 


I colored the sweet ice skaters with Copics. The sentiment is from the new Big Bold Valentine. I can't wait for Valentine's Day!
