Happy Tuesday, crafty friends! This week is Release Week for Taylored Expressions and I am so excited to share a fun project I created using some soon-to-be-released products. Today I am featuring a new cutting plate called On the Line and its accompanying On the Line Accessories. The plate is cool because it cuts out a half-frame and the tree trunks and also includes the 'leaves' of the tree to create a scene.
The Accessories are all fun, but I wanted to make a Father's Day card, so I chose the hammock. It's so cute and I added some hemp twine to tie it in place with a couple of the trees I added (by simply die-cutting the plate again and snipping the trees off.) I wanted the setting to mimic a day by the lake, so I used the new Rainbow Scallop Border and placed it behind some die-cut grass.
I used a sentiment from an old fave set, A Day in Paradise (adding 'Happy Father's Day' to the inside of the card.) I also used Build A Scene Rolling Hills along with Build a Scene patterned paper for the hill and sky. The sun is just a punched circle on which I sponged some orange ink -- easy peesy!
I hope you will visit the TE Blog today for more inspiration from the Creative Team! New products will be available at the TE Store on Thursday!

I want to be relaxing in your scene!! Love your use of On the Line - and the wave you've tied the hammock adds so much interest.
