Kiwi Meets Black...

The amazing Claire Brennan of Waltzing Mouse Stamps is debuting a new release of her clear stamps and in their honor she challenged us to create a card using our absolute favorite stamp paired with the color green. I had a fun time looking through my stamps and realized that my most beloved stamp is a Stampin' Up from a set called Happy Harmony. I love it because it reminds me of my little boy, who loves to pick dandelions. Having just moved to the big city, there aren't very many opportunities to go flower picking, so it's even more special to me. For this card I paired Kiwi Kiss with Basic Black. After color-washing with distress ink on photo paper, I stamped the image of the dandelion and added a fitting rub-on sentiment.

Regina, how sentimental!!! I know that most colours go with black but the kiwi is a nice combo. I really like that embossing folder. Great job.
So pretty, Regina! I love these two colors together! The embossing is the perfect touch! TFS
Those retro diamonds are very cool. Beautiful card and color combo . . . hopefully, these dandelions will fill the gap now that you are in the Big City. Hugs, Mary
Gorgeous colors, gorgeous stamping, gorgeous design, gorgeous details = gorgeous card!
I love the dendelions against the wash background and the brads add the right amount of POP! Beautiful!
What a fun "green" project!
I will have to try this color combo... I doubt I will see in mine what I see in yours though. Your card is awesome. Love that Kiwi Kiss and Black.
