Happy Fright Night!...

This week's Pals Paper Arts Challenge is a color challenge featuring Perfect Plum, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie -- a great color scheme for Halloween and a good opportunity for me to plug along on my holiday cards (I am SO behind!) This card is fairly simple in concept, though it ended up being a bit more involved in execution due to the many layers of cardstock. To cut the circle punch-out, I had to run five layers of cardstock through my Big Shot with a Nestability to make my happy home for my "frightening" spider. Embossing folders made short work of livening up my colorful panels, and a tiny bit of a sparkly Gelly Roll pen gave the little arachnid's eyes a bit of spooky glow.

Awesome halloween card.
I love the dangling spider.
The layers are wonderful and those glowing eyes are perfect!
FABULOUS! I love the originality. I would never have thought to hang that cute little spider in the window. Love it!
What a great idea to highlight Mr. Spider. Fab!
I love the embossed panels and "Spidey". Your cards are always so creative!
I love your card, Regina! Love all the wonderful textures! My favorite thing, however, is that cute spider! I love how you featured him in the die-cut circle! Too cute!
Hi Regina!
I love your design for this challenge. It looks fresh and different, at the same time funny. I love the different textures you used.
