A Tin Heart...

I'm afraid this is turning out to be World Card Making Weekend for me. I decided to tackle a third challenge from Nichole Heady, this one Mexican inspired . I took my inspiration from one of the photos she posted as well as the wonderful punched tin art of Mexico. To create my "tin heart," I stamped the image on the back of a piece of metallic cardstock and used a paper piercer to punch through the design. The background is colored in a multitude of bright colors, and to give it a fabric-like texture, I over-stamped over the entire image with a linen stamp. A few silver brads made for a "riveted" look.
