Let Your Love Shine...

I sat down to make a quick card, and for some reason, it took me a couple hours. I knew I wanted to make another V-Day card, I knew I wanted to use plum as a base color, and I had a terrific sketch from Taylor. So, why did it take so long? I have no idea, though, by the end of my frenzied crafting, I was happy to have a finished card that I was (thankfully!) pleased with.
For this card, I stamped different sized hearts in various shades of Elegant Eggplant on white cardstock. I created my own designer paper by stamping a text background image on cardstock and made a frame for my hearts with a new corner punch. For my sentiment, I stamped in craft ink and embossed with clear powder. I replaced the word "light" with "love" from an old favorite set, something I love to do to suit my purposes. After adding some twill ribbon, I glittered up a nice big heart and attached some plum-colored buttons for a final touch.
