Dream...

It's been a busy card-making weekend! I wanted to do another of Jen del Muro's Sketch For You To Try card sketches, and I was in a bit of a Romantic (as in the literary era) mood. For this card, I started with the horizontal element from Jen's sketch, stamping these wonderful silhouettes in Whisper White on Chocolate Chip Cardstock. This whimsical dragonfly was stamped twice and then colored with Copics and assembled with some foam dimensional squares. I wanted some kind of text element and am a huge John Keats fan, so I used my computer to print out his poem 'Ode to a Grecian Urn' and cut it to fit the circular element of the sketch. With just a little embossing in the background, my Romantic card was ready to 'dream'...
