One Last Valentine...

It's been a long road between New Year's and Valentine's Day...but a fun one! For this week's Pals Paper Arts, I had the honor of being the Featured Artist. As an added bonus, this was a sketch challenge with another one of the wonderful Margaret Moody's fab sketches. So, for one last chance to tackle a V-Day card before the big, smoochy day, I followed my heart to make one for someone I love!
I had been itching to use my new I {Love} Love Jumbo Wheel. As soon as I saw it, I knew that the heart image would look great in red. I love to use holiday designer paper year round, and so I was tickled that this Christmas Cocoa paper looked great with the Basic Gray and Riding Hood Red color scheme I had in mind. I ran just part of my cardstock through my Big Shot with an embossing folder for some visual appeal and added a big, satiny bow. For a vintage feel, I sponged on Basic Gray with a light touch all around every element. I hope everyone has a Valentine you can give your heart to and one that will give theirs right back. XOXO

I like how you used a "Christmas" paper on a Valentine's card.

Proof that you are only limited by your imagination.
