I love roses. They are romantic and sweet, and they come in so many lovely shades of color. Ellen Hutson is hosting a fun challenge: Flower Parade Inspiration, based on this wonderful photo.
As soon as saw those luscious rows of roses, I knew I had to create my own. I wanted to make a very clean and simple card and make the blooms the focal point, so I began with a white card base, on which I used an embossing tool to draw some straight lines to create a frame. Next, I created tiny little roses (see tutorial in sidebar) and adhered them onto an "inchie" piece of pink card stock, framed in a darker shade. I used a Copic pen to write my simple sentiment, and I was left with a card to give to my sweetie.
