Just Add Water (TE Sneak Peek Day Three)...

Just one more day until the big release at Taylored Expressions! Today we switch gears from birthday wishes to spooky witches with a spectacularly spooky new set, Fright Night Favors. This set is perfect for brewing up some Halloween treats, especially because the three frames included coordinate with a new Taylored Die, the Favor Frame. It's a nifty little tool for getting a perfect little die-cut frame and will be available this Friday.

I know that candy is the treat of choice on Halloween, but I have a some friends who try not to partake in the fattening goodies. When I saw the "Witches Brew: Just Add Water" sentiment, I thought a fun treat would be to make a decorative powdered drink tag for a re-purposed glass bottle. I began by trimming some rich purple card stock from the Fright Night Project Pantry Kit and punching a hole sized to fit the bottle's neck. Next, I stamped the cute bats in silver ink and created a little pocket decorated with patterned paper and cute little pumpkin brads included in the kit, border punching a decorative window.

I then covered a "to-go" packet of diet powdered drink, stamping this sweetly scary little spider (I drew in the web silk with a Copic Multiliner) and tied a ribbon at the top. With more patterned paper and card stock from the kit, I covered the label on the bottle, topping it off with another ribbon I found in the kit!
Lastly, I stamped and die cut the frame and sentiment, adding a few liquid dimensionals between the scallops. Now I had something to give my diet-conscious friends so they don't feel too left out on the yummiest of fall holidays!

BEAN NOTES: *All materials are Taylored Expressions unless otherwise noted: Fright Night Favors Stamps; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Encore Silver Ink; Fright Night Project Pantry Kit (Textured Card Stock, Echo Park Patterned Paper, Brads, Ribbon); Copic Multiliner; Paper Shapers Circle Punch; Adirondack Liquid Dimensionals; Foam Tape
HAPPY BEANS: Favor Frame Taylored Die; Glass Bottle; Diet Snapple Powdered Drink Mix

Tune in tomorrow for more BOO-to-you goodness from me and Release Day projects from the entire Baker's Dozen. If you are up bright and early (8am PST), you can get your hands on these fun new goodies in the TE store on Friday, September 3! In the meantime, be sure to check out today's spooky fun created by the team:
