Happy Vintage Birthday...

Every so often, I like to try my hand at styles that are a little outside my comfort zone. I think the vintage look is so beautiful and I really admire designers who do it so well and so often. When I saw this week's Mojo Monday sketch, I was excited to try something new! I took out my Embrace Beauty set from Taylored Expressions and some pretty, vintage paper. I mostly followed the sketch closely except to tear the bottom later to reveal the sentiment below. I sponged some ink around each element and added two ribbons, tied together.

I was happy with my little foray into a style that isn't my usual thing...I'll definitely be doing this more often!
