Thanks a Bee...

Thank goodness it's Friday! It's been much too long since I participated in the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge and I just couldn't resist this week's sketch!

Isn't it a fun one? I love how sketches are always open to interpretation. I decided to make a muted spring card, as I love the combination of colors (Baja Breeze, Really Rust, More Mustard) that I found on the cute patterned paper. I began by stamping my flowers from the TE set,  Bugabee, which is one of my favorites because it has matching dies.

I stamped and die-cut the little bees to replace two of the square elements in the sketch and added some vellum wings.

I also used the TE Grass Border die to separate the two panels and finished off with a nice, big, happy "thanks" -- I'm thankful for a lot of things, not the least of which is the bright sunshine coming in through my window!

BEAN NOTES
Stamps: Bugabee (Taylored Expressions)
Cardstock: Solar White (Neenah); Pear Pizazz, Baja Breeze, More Mustard (Stampin' Up!)
Ink: Baja Breeze, Really Rust, More Mustard, Pear Pizazz, Basic Gray (SU!)
Patterned Paper: Away We Go (My Mind's Eye)
Dies: Grass Border, Bugabee (TE)
