This is definitely one of those TGIF end of the week days and with the weird, wet, rainy weather we've been having, I am glad it is officially spring!
I started with the awesome sketch challenge at Taylored Expressions (sketch by my fellow Baker's Dozen teammate, Jen). I was also inspired by the Flowers Challenge over at Lily Pad Cards and thought I'd try out a new challenge, the PaperPlay Spring Colours Challenge because I want to change things up a bit.
I have been making a lot of bright cards of late and thought I would go with an unusual color palette for Spring. I went for muted colors with some gray sponging around all the edges because, after all, showers bring flowers, right?
I am also dabbling in trying out some misting spray. I sprayed the background paper and I love the distressed look it gives. I also added dimension to the flowers by double-stamping and fussy cutting before popping up with some foam tape. I love spring...what is your favorite season?
