It's been days and days of rain here in San Francisco and I really needed to brighten my day! Luckily, this week we are featuring the fabulous and amazing new tool from Imaginisce, the i-Magicut! Keep reading for a chance to win one of these cool tools!
If you love ribbon, but you don't like the frayed edges that you get when you cut it, than this is the tool for you. To show it off, I decided to create a ribbon wreath to hang in my craft space.
The great thing about the i-Magicut is that it not only cuts, but also seals the ribbon. |
To create my wreath, I took a wreath base that I got from my local craft store. Mine is about 8 inches, as my room is small. I began by choosing complimentary ribbons of all types, cutting each length long enough to tie off. The i-Magicut took care of any frayed edges for me. (Bean Tip: when cutting/sealing wired ribbon, you will need to snip the wire with scissors, though the edges will still be sealed!) Simply layer the ribbon in an overlapping row around the wreath base and voila!--something pretty to hang in my room.
Be sure to visit the Imaginisce blog for a chance to win your very own i-Magicut and see what amazing projects my teammates have designed for you today and the rest of the week!
