April Release At a Glance
|
Day Two of Release Week for Taylored Expressions has me thinking about upcoming graduations that are just around the corner. Today I am sharing the very cute Grad Word a la Carte from the Apple Doodle Ink line of stamps, along with two fab new dies.
I know that the traditional graduation card seems to be done in bright or solid colors, but I was inspired to create a very soft and feminine one for a change. I paper-pieced each letter using some pretty patterned paper. Then, I used one of the ultra-cool new Buckle Dies to create the little floral embellishment (check back Thursday to see a chipboard version of one of these beauties!) and added the new Reach for the Stars Border Die!
BEAN NOTES
Stamps: Grad Word a la Carte (Illustrated by Doug Applegate for Taylored Expressions)
Patterned Paper: Songbird (Prima)
Cardstock: Choice Buttercream (Taylored Expressions)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa (Tsukineko)
Dies: Nesting Stars (Spellbinders); Buckle Die, Reach for the Stars Border Die (Taylored Expressions)
Accents: Liquid Pearls (Ranger)
I hope you enjoyed my graduation card! Don't forget to check out the rest of the Baker's Dozen for more sneaky peeky goodness! Come back tomorrow for some very cute baby-licious inspiration. Have a Happy Beany Day!
