The mid-week slump is officially here. I was feeling a little blah today, so I decided I should make something happy. Birthdays are happy. So is ice cream. So I thought the two together would be just what I needed to pick me up!
I wanted a clean and simple card so that the ice cream cone (and WHAT an ice cream cone!) could be the star of the show. I used the darling scoops, cone, and sentiment from the Build a Treat set from Taylored Expressions and stamped on some cute patterned paper. I fussy cut each element and stacked them up into one gooey tower of happiness. A marker gave me a "stitched" border and I added a colored cherry right on top.

What a festive card! And my youngest is going to a birthday party this weekend. I was wondering what kind of card to make. Thank you for some inspiration!
