All this week, my design teammates at Imaginisce have been showing off projects that were inspired by the things that surround them and today I get to show off what inspired me! I created a layout based on a lamp from my son's room:
I love the dotted stars on the lamp and tried to recreate the feel of them using some white Glam Rocks and the i-Rock.
I took the rich colors from the lamp and deconstructed them to use as accent colors on my page, using papers from the Sole Sisters, Bon Voyage, and Apple Cider collections.
Using the cool d-Stress tool from Imaginisce, I was able to mimic the dots on the lamp as well as the stitching on my punched out stars.
I'd been struggling to figure out a way to scrap our family's fun day at the tide pools and this turned out to be just the right thing.
BEAN NOTES
Patterned Paper: Bon Voyage, Sole Sisters, Apple Cider (Imaginisce); Tools: i-Rock and d-Stress (Imaginisce); Cardstock: Textured white (American Crafts); White Washed (Core'dinations); Accents: white glam rocks (Imaginisce); packing tape (generic); Stickers: Blue High Five Alphabet Stickers (Bella Blvd); Dies: Lollipop Alphabet (Lifestyle Crafts)
I hope you find inspiration from the everyday things that surround you. Have a wonderful weekend!

Love this layout! The squares behind the photos add just the right amout of color and I really need one of those I-Rock tools :)
This is just gorgeous! I really love the white glam rock accents and love how you distressed the paper too, such clean, crisp layout!
