Good Tuesday to you, Crafty Friends! Today Lifestyle Crafts is releasing its fun Maritime line of dies and I am excited to share some projects I created with them! Plus, as an Affiliate, I get to offer readers an exclusive 20% discount code for use in the LC Store (details below.)
Today I'm featuring two darling new dies, the Whale and Crab Maritime Dies. I love anything that has to do with the sea, so I was really happy to create these two clean and simple cards
My first card features the Whale. This easy to make card was a breeze to make by border punching some waves from some complimentary patterned paper and popping them up with foam tape.
I then nestled the whale inside the waves. (Bean Tip: if you are creating a background of a lot of pattern, make your focal image a solid color to make sure it stands out!)
Next up is this card I made with the Crab Die. I wanted the cards to be similar in style, so I repeated the idea of layering patterned papers which were simply free cut to simulate the sands of a beach.
The wee crab was adhered onto the card -- the die comes with eyes, which can be done in the same color or any that you want. I kept things simple with the same color cardstock.

Regina, I LOVE these cards! I confess partiality to the crab as I grew up along the mid-Atlantic coastline where crab feasts were de rigeour! :) (However it's spelled!)
