Happy 1st of July! It's the first of the month, so that means another Imaginisce Monthly Challenge -- this month, the challenge is to use a sun or sunshine in a project, which is just perfect for summer.
I created this layout using papers from the Makin' Waves and Hippity Hop collections. This day was one of our very last in Manhattan before our big move across the country and boy, was it HOT. We took the rugrat to a water playground where he and a friend had a blast trying to stay cool.
The "sun" was made by die-cutting circles and trimming the rays, alternating the papers. The middle was the perfect size for a framed photo.
I had a ton of pics from that day and I printed them out in 1.75" squares along the bottom. We do miss our friends in New York, but we don't miss the muggy heat! I hope you'll join in at the Imaginisce blog for this month's challenge...you might just win a fabulous prize!
