Imaginisce December Challenge

Happy December 1st! I can't believe the year is coming to a close. Since it's the beginning of the month, that means that it's also time for another Imaginisce Monthly Challenge! This month, the challenge is to create a card or layout with traditional holiday colors using non-traditional collections! Here is my take:

I found this month's challenge to be so much fun and I approached it as if I needed to make a quick Christmas card with absolutely NO holiday paper in my craft space. The green dotted paper was hiding in the Monster Mash collection and I knew I could die-cut a little tree. Next, I needed red, which I thought would be harder, but then I found the darling frame in the Sole Sisters collection! I still needed a larger piece of red paper to mat my panel with and was I lucky when I realized I could use the packaging from the Sole Sisters stickers -- the perfect shade of holiday red and it already matched the frame!

I hope you can take the Challenge because there are some fun prizes to be won each month! Visit the Imaginisce blog for more details!

BEAN NOTES
Patterned Paper: from Monster Mash and Sole Sisters collections (Imaginisce); Stickers: Sole Sisters Sticker Stacker (Imaginisce); Other: packaging from Sole Sisters collection (Imaginisce); Die: Evergreen Tree Punches (Lifestyle Crafts); Stamp: sentiment (JustRite Stampers)

Love the card and nobody would know that it was not Christmas paper. Simple but elegant.
