Taylored Expressions September Sneak Peek: Home is Where the HAUNT Is

It's the second day of the big Birthday Bash at Taylored Expressions!

I got to play along today with some pretty fabulous Halloween stamps and dies. Here's my spooky fun card:

I used the soon-to-be released set, A Spooky View and the new Gothic Window die. That awesome spider's web in the background was created with the new Spider Web Cutting Plate.

I stamped the haunted house scene with black ink on orange cardstock and then sponged ink over a mask to create the sunset sky.

To create the shadow effect on my web, I die-cut a second web with vellum and placed it behind the black web to really make the whole thing pop!

BEAN NOTES
The new products I used will be available this Thursday at 8am PST.
Stamps: (sentiment and frame from A Spooky View) Taylored Expressions; Dies: (Gothic Window, Spider Web Cutting Plate); Cardstock: (all colors) Stampin' Up!

Taylored Expressions is celebrating with party games all month long!
Today, the game is i-Spy and if you play along, you could win a fabulous prize! Visit the Taylored Expressions blog HERE for all the details! Be sure to visit the Baker's Dozen blogs for lots of Birthday Bash Release week eye candy!

I love what you did with the spider web [adding the vellum]. Thanks for a great idea that will work with several of my dies.
