Hey there, crafty friends! Today I get to do something really fun, which is participate in an unusual blog hop with some friends from Perfect Paper Crafting. This company offers a lot of nifty tools and today I am showing a project I created with their Perfect Layers Mini tool. When you are done here, please be sure to visit the talented Pam Sparks from the Perfect Paper Crafting design team to check out some amazing eye candy!
For my project today, I wanted to make a panel card using one of my favorite images from Taylored Expressions from the set, Discover Your Wings. I stamped the pretty silhouette image on one panel and trimmed it into three of varying width.
This is where the Perfect Layers Mini Tool came in super handy. It's sized perfectly for cards and I was impressed by the perfect layers it created in different widths.
I wanted each of my panels to have a multi-layered mat, and it was a breeze to do with just the tool and a hobby knife.
For a little added texture, I used some Stickles on the dandelions, which was a nice subtle way to finish off my card!
