Taylored Expressions Release Day: Hello and Thank you!

Happy Thursday, crafty peeps! It's been absolutely pouring down rain here all week (as you can tell by my photos today), but I'm still having fun with Taylored Expressions, which is releasing new products today for Petite-a-Palooza! This is when the company releases a bevy of very cool Stamp & Die combo sets, which are my favorite kind of stamp set! Today I'm sharing two cards that I created with some of the fun new stamps and dies.

My first card uses a fun new die, Picture Perfect Smile/Hello. The fun thing here is that I also used the new Let's Talk Edger 1 conversation balloon die. I put this behind the "hello" in the frame as if the sea creatures are the ones doing the talking. I colored up the darling fish, jelly, and octopus with Copics and added some Wink of Stella to add some sparkle. I added the waves by using the negative from the new Stitched Scallop Edger and added some white Wink of Stella to give them some foam.

On the inside, I stamped the sweet sentiment and added the Stitched Scallop Edger piece that I originally cut out!

For my second card, I wanted to use the Let's Talk Edger 1, which is just the thing when you want to make a statement! In this case, a fun thank you card expressing big thanks!

I kept things simple by stamping, coloring, and cutting out a darling little own from Sunshiny Day. I placed her on a hill cut using Build a Scene Rolling Hills and spelled out 'thanks' using the Tall & Skinny Alpha. This was a quick card, but so fun to make and a fun to to receive, too!

I hope you will visit the TE Blog to check out all the Release Day fun! Have a happy beany day!
