It's a Mojo Monday and the first of the month, so it's contest time. The pressure was on, but this one was scads of fun - mainly because I got to use my brand new stamps from Verve! The sketch is a good one, straightforward, but with lots of room to wiggle and be creative.
I dusted off my "masking" abilities and embossed a Miracles Blossom stamp to fit inside this adorable balloon from Up, Up, & Away, and also masked the balloon to sneak in some clouds. For this "night" scene, I needed to do a lot of embossing and masking for the images to show well on the black background. I think I will need to invest in a large star punch because I had to make my own star for this one. I love the sentiment and I think this will make for a perfect graduation card. Bean Tip: The black velvet ribbon is a rescued scrap from a gift - reuse & recycle!
