When he saw the patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl, my son pointed at the cute little girl and said, "Oh, look! It's Mommy!" So, I couldn't resist making a V-Day card for him starring, well, me. I used the heart frame from the Kid at Heart set from Taylored Expressions, and cut it out using the coordinating die. I did tweak the sketch a little to suit. I love the heart border die from TE and replaced the cut-out hearts with orange hearts and applied a LOT of Liquid Pearls around all the edges for just a touch of subtle bling.

Regina what a sweet story to go with your creation! I love the story and your card is so so so much fun! Love your use of different patterned papers, and your die cut usage is really eye catching :) Thanks so much for playing at the PDCC this week!
Such a terrific design, Regina! Love that you snuck in a little of the blue that is also in the print from the Play Date color story...so glad to have you play along with us again!
Oops! Regina, I may have spelled your last name wrong when I nominated you. I knew the right spelling, but sometimes a person's fingers type something else. (That is my story and I am sticking to it. :D)
This is ADORABLE! I think I will have to go over to TE and do a little surfing.
What a great story about your little guy and your color challenge. i am with you, Regina. Those colors would be a serious challenge for me as well.
Hugs, Suzie

Well I bought my first bottle of liquid pearls because of you! You are the master and every time you use them they look gorgeous! I am afraid mine will look like splats instead of pearls :)
