Lucky Friend...

We went to visit our family last weekend, and I got to hang out with my fabulous mom-in-law, Susan. She's my crafting buddy and my best girlfriend, and I made this card to show her what a great friend she is and how much I appreciate her. I used the appropriately themed Friendship Blooms from Taylored Expressions for the perfect sentiment and for those darling stamped buttons.

SPILLING THE BEANS
  1. Make card from cardstock.
  2. Trim patterned paper; mat and adhere.
  3. Die-cut frame. Emboss cardstock, trim, and adhere. Cut out armchairs and picture from patterned paper and adhere.
  4. Cut slits in frame; thread ribbon and tie bow. Adhere with foam tape.
  5. Stamp sentiment on cardstock; trim, mat and adhere.
  6. Stamp buttons on cardstock. Pierce holes and draw strings with marker. Punch out and adhere with foam tape.
