Dreams Really Do Come True...

What now seems like many, many years ago (in reality, it was only about four) my little family left our home in Los Angeles for "greener pastures" in Minnesota. Well, though it was a lovely place, for a warm sunshine girl like me, the winter was anything but green! Then, we moved to Manhattan, which has been an adventure, but we were getting farther and farther away from our family on the West Coast. Now, my hard-working hubby has made one of our dreams come true and has gotten a job in San Francisco! We'll be moving in June, and I just had to make one last "California Dreamin'" card before we go. So, I grabbed an old favorite set of mine from Taylored Expressions. I thought it appropriate to make Cuppie's cheeks blue, since we've been shivering our way through winter...fun in the sun, here we come!

BEAN NOTES
  • Stamps: Beach Bum (Taylored Expressions)
  • Cardstock: Peach Parfait, Marina Mist (Stampin' Up!); Choice Snow (TE)
  • Patterned Paper: Salt Air (Cosmo Cricket)
  • Dies: Nested Pennants and Classic Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
  • Accents: Cantaloupe Liquid Pearls (Ranger)
  • Fibers: Marina Mist Grosgrain (SU!)

Such a cute card, Regina. Wow, congrats on the good news of your move back to the West Coast. It is always nice to be near family. At least you had a short opportunity to live on the East Coast and in the Mid West. Soon you will be soaking up that California sunshine !!
