Negatives Into Positives

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I'm sharing a little project using the negative die-cut technique. I wanted to make a set of all-occasion tags and so I grabbed some goodies from Taylored Expressions and got to work.

I started by die-cutting the tag shape with Taylor's Gift Card Frame Die twice, from patterned paper and card stock. Then, I die-cut the letters using the Tall & Skinny Alphabet and popped up that tag shape over the patterned paper. Tie on some ribbon and twine and you have some easy, graphic and fun all-occasion tags!

BEAN NOTES
Stamps: sentiments from Bugabee set (Taylored Expressions); Patterned Paper: Hello Summer (Echo Park); Cardstock: orange, blue, pink textured (American Crafts), Soft Suede (Stampin' Up!); Ink: Fresh Snow (PTI); Fibers: twill ribbon (Stampin' Up!), baker's twine (The Twinery); Tools: slit punch (Stampin' Up!); Dies: Fly Your Flag 2, Gift Card Frame, Tall & Skinny Alphabet (Taylored Expressions)
