Grads and Moms...TE Sneak Peek Day 2!

I hope you enjoyed the first day of sneak peeks for Release Week at Taylored Expressions -- today I have more graduation for you, plus a friendly little reminder that Mom's Day is coming up! Just a note that all of today's papers, ribbon, and rhinestones are from one of two fun card kits that will be available in the store tomorrow. I used the Hello Luscious card kit, which includes enough happy supplies to make 10 cards!

My first card features the third in the uber cool It's a Banner Day series of stamps and coordinating dies - how cute is this ribbon banner? I paired it with one of my favorite stamps from Garden Party Critters and added a graduation mortar board and diploma from the soon-to-be-released Dream Big. Do you see that adorable star pattern in the background? That's from the new Stars Impressions Plate releasing this week!

Let's not forget that Mother's Day is before graduation, and today I have an A la Carte stamp called simply, Mom that is so sweet.

I created the darling mug by paper piecing with paper from the fab new Hello Luscious card kit and repeated the pattern in the scalloped oval mat. The nice fat ribbon is from the kit and I just love how all of the cardstock matches the patterned papers.

To accompany this card, I made a simple gift card holder for a Starbucks gift card to match -- what mom can get through the day without a strong cuppa joe?
